Hello Clare,
Sorry for the random message but I have read some of your emails on meningitis and was hoping you could help.
Rex our 8 month old cockapoo is really suffering at the moment and we are not sure what the diagnosis is, despite many tests this week to include mri, bloods and spinal tap.
The vet thinks it could be epilepsy but I suspect that it may be meningitis
It appears that you have done a lot of research on this (from reading your posts) and I was wondering if you could help me?
If I tell you some of the symptoms Rex is having could you tell me what you are think..
- Tiredness
- Panting and breathing quite rapidly
- Off food at times (this changes daily)
- will greet people but not for as long as he would have done previously
- Not as interested in people and playing with toys
- Wanders around house and sits / sleeps in places he has never done previously
- Seizures (he has had 5 in 3 weeks)
Your quick response would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Kirsty
