How Long for Profile Pic to Show

I have tried to post a profile pic and it still has not shown up. i have changed it to see if it had something to do with the pic, but that didn't work either?:confused:

the profile photo is different form your avatar

profile stays on you profile
avatar shows nest to every post you make.
