I've just come across this site tonight and I am so pleased to have found it! I spend hours looking on dog forums but have never posted anything as most of them are against cross-breeding or poodle-mixes . Now I feel I can be amongst friends - people who understand that cockapoos are fantastic dogs and are worthy of being appreciated for what they are :D.

Alfie is one of the cockapoos I have bred and he is adorable - such a character, and gorgeous too. I look after him whenever his owners are away. I took him to a couple of shows this year and he won a few rosettes, including a 1st for best cross breed - much to his owners' delight. He is black and has a lovely loose curly coat. His mum is my blue roan working cocker and his dad is a chocolate miniature poodle.

I've been breeding cockapoos for 2 years now from my English working cockers and my miniature poodle. I don't have a website but have my details on breedersonline. I have a litter due in the next day or so and it's always exciting and nerve wracking. Your Shy'lo is stunning! Are you in the UK?

A bitch should have one season break between litters, which mine do. I have several working cockers as my OH works some of them but some have turned out to be gun shy and cannot be worked. I bred working cockers before cockapoos but as we had a couple of gun shy working cockers with super loving temperaments, I decided to breed cockapoos from them.

ok, sorry, was just curious as i know nothing about breeding other than what i have been told and what i have seen with my breeder and friends who have bred from their bitches. i don't even know much about season as all my girls were spayed before their first season.
iv just never met anyone who had 2 litter from a bitch in one year.
