Couldn't miss this great opportunity to share in our joy that Lucy is here. My granddaughter sent me a text with her picture and I agreed to go see her. My husband and I have been missing our beloved cocker, Hope, 18 years old, who died in December. Her buddy, Bailey, a cocker mix, has been lonely as well.
So I go to check out this little dog who was 11 weeks at the time. You can see she is pretty cute, but it is her personality that snagged me. My husband and I think she was sent from Heaven just to be ours. We got her required shots and health certificate and took her with us for a two week cruise to Mexico and back to San Pedro. Lucy was such a trouper and got to know her way around the boat quickly. She got a little seasick the first day but adjusted well and felt fine from then on. We stayed on-board the whole time but she made many new friends along the way. What great pets these wonderful little dogs make!:) We will have fun watching her grow.
