I think it is one for Dave or Kendal? I was also wondering about rep and Karma points and it doesn't make sense to me.

Well I got a bad one for posting a joke!!!!! yet the person who replied to me with a joke never got one because I asked them!! talk about being vindictive.
There is a thread on here about Karma points.
You can give Karma point once you have 25 posts and then once you have given one need to give to 10 more people before you can give again to that person. ( it's like REP on PF)
With Rep it says you get a point when on a year and another for every 1000 posts but it doesn't say what they are used for.
I can see how you give Karma but not rep but then are they not the same thing??
You know I am naff at all this stuff .. but I use the scale looking icon in the top right corner to give rep ... and report using the give caution sign top right... that’s all I know ...then I did notice in my User CP that is shows if you have got rep etc back ...
Hey ladies take it on the chin and laugh it off if you do ever get any get bad rep / report against you .. just laugh it off... even I got a bad one ha ha ha and we all know how I get on with everyone on here .. it is usual heated discussions when people start pressing the report button :)
I only even report rudeness or spam stuff :)

Ok got it .. so I give Karma to people but its called reputation, and the Rep Power is out of our control just to do with how many posts we do :) think I have finally got it .. did warn you I was naff ..

On Petforum you can like on here rate the thread by stars.
We had people we callled one star fairies who used to target peoples thread and give it one star and one star meant Terrible :( though peoples friends then use to up them.
It ended up with some humorous threads where we all wrote peoms about the one star fairies :D:D but they also caused a lot of upset too.
Despite people not wanting them they carried on- but then a few months ago finally admin got rid of them.:)

I don't understand it either but if you put your cursor over the green square it says the person's name ie Kendal is on a distinguished road!!! :)

Oh I never knew that - off to put my cursor on everyone's green square. What happens when you get to the end of the road - is there a reward :D

I only found out by chance as was wondering if the green square actually did anything - too much time on my hands on a Sunday evening I feel ;) A reward would be nice though I doubt it somehow :)

i can give rep but can't see how to give karma???!!! As i only log on using my Blackberry playbook (BBs version of an iPad) i struggle to add comments to rep so you'll get blank rep!!!!

Rep points are basically how much Karma you give to other people. So when you give karma, the person gets however many rep points you have in karma points, that make sense? x
