they were given a medicated shampoo to use on her leg, its doing wonders.

used the tropiclean de tangle no rince, as Rockys back was realy badly matted, and i was low on dmatt conditoner but they were out of stock so couldnt order more i was brilient but wish i had put him back in the bath after it as i didnt like the textur of his coat when he was dry. but it worked fab it took me forever to do his back legs then the rest was a breese once i started using the spray.

That is awesome! I have a bottle of that now too....I convinced a local posh doggy shop to carry it and now they have it all the time.

i cant remember exactly when they arived but i got him out the bath at 10 am and didnt finish them both till 3:15, i had to leave rocky still a little damp in places so i could get poppy bathed and dried.

so much longer than last time, im pleased with rocky, i think i could have done better with poppy, but i feel i rushed her.

Kendal, I haven't got to the stage of having to properly groom George yet but would you be so kind as to give us new parents a run through. Also what equipment do we need, thanks:)

What would you recommend as a basic starter kit for keeping matts at bay/removing them?

get a cheep pair of scissors out the pet shop on online and a good slicker brush i still can see past my les pooches brush, been using it at work and at home for 4 years and personaly i feel it makes a difference. the tropiclean tangle spray realy does work wonders. and a mettle comb with wide and fine teeth.

now if i can find my cammera and tripod my girls have some nice nots on them i will try and film getting them out.
