for years i have used windows but as it doesnt seem to play sound on my videos anymore, i am concidering downloding the full quick time vidio editor but wanted to know if anyone recomends others before i do.

If you download AC3 filter your windows player should then work.

I'm on a mac so I use iMovie, which unfortunately isn't available for windows. Now I come to think of it this post is useless to you..sorry :(
