Hello everyone. My name is Adrienne and I hail from texas.

I own one cockapoo, her name is Shy'lo. She just turned a year last fed 9, but still acts like a 6 month old. She is a black and white ticked, and largely favors her poodle side. She is 13 tall, 13 1/2 long, and 13 pounds.

She has been in beginner & intermediate ob, and is going to graduate beginner agility class next tuesday. She is cocky, sarcastic, and a true drama queen. She loves to train and can focus like no dog I've owned (though granted, I have only owned two) and believers herself to be a cheetah, lucky she also loves to run back to me. She is a little of a bully to her father, but is a good dog at heart. (I think.) We've working on her barking and leash pulling, and though I often sigh, in true I'm quite proud of her.

Here she is at only two weeks.

Thank you kendal. :) Her coat is straight and unruly, it likes to lay sideways so it's really hard to scissor lol. When the fur is longer it has a little lift to it, but not much.

She is the second born of a litter of nine, seven B&W and two cream partis. Her mother was a red, and father a sable, so we were quite surprised with the number of blacks we got. If you'd like to see them, there listed under Brittney's second litter. http://www.sugabear.net/pictures.htm

Long story lol.

Ok, my sister got Brittany, shy's mum the red/white cocker. She wanted a red parti litter, and managed to find D'Art. I was keeping up with the hunt for a stud, and saw the first pics of D'Ar and got twitterpated. So when we went to see him, I only fell more in love and it was ridiculously odviously he was mine (thou sis still payed for him lol) from the start, and my two sisters know it. So I did everything for D'Art, he was mine in everyway but legally.

Sister agreed after much bugging that after she got her red litter she'd give him to me to neuter (he was marking BAD) and keep. So, after we know she was pregnent he went in for the surgery. When they were born 'Suki' (it fit her then at least lol) was the odd ball out and, well, a dorky looking little thing. Being as she looked the oddist, I kept my eye on her, purely for the sake of it.

When she was near two weeks she started to get personality, and I started to like her over the rest. Renee (sister) pointed out the fact that she had always regretted not keeping a pup out of her male, and it really got me thinking about the fact that he was neutered now, and I'd never have a chance at a pup from him again. I'd never cared before, but suddenly it was quite an intersting thought. I started spending a lot of time just watching her, and I slowly fell in love again.

She was the most obnoxious, pushy, adventurous pup ever. She would go the farthest, push the hardest, and stay awake the longest, she was trouble even then lol. She was the only pup out of the eight that realized D'Art wasn't a female, and he soon started to play with her. When she hit 5 weeks she had already learned come and sit, was already crate trained, and know her new name. I was hooked, and I know she would never leave.

Renee made the site, she is very good at it! I'll tell her you liked it. :D

Here they are together. 'Lo is at 9 months.

No seconds, no way. (at least that's what I tell myself) I want no pups for a few years, then when I can raise it right, I want a large breed. But it's all in the air right know.

She has always loved her Da, and he her. They get along better then I had hoped, I really am thrilled with there relationship.

She is mostly neutral with her mom. It's not her doing really, I don't actually like her mum (She's my sisters dog, and I simply don't get along with her very well.) so Shy was raised more with her dad and me.

Mostly she is called a Chinese crested powderpuff! Younger people deem her a poodle though, all get corrected.

Gorgeous pictures - I love the picture of her and her dad together. She definitely sounds like a dog with a lot of personality - do you plan on showing her in agility?

Thanks. :) It's one of my favs too.

We're going into our third agility class soon. 'Lo truly loves it, it makes her so happy! I don't like the running part (I bike, not run lol) but she enjoys it so much I'm doing it just for her. I know she'll get good enough to do it for real, it's really only a matter of time I think.

Not to likely Kendal lol. I don't like myself in picts even, a vid is even worst.

Maybe soon though, she's so good at it I do feel like showing her off. ;)

Hey, exercise never hurts, right? :P That sounds great, I wish you luck with her in competitions. I plan on doing agility with Cosmo, hopefully he'll like it as much as it sounds like Shy'lo does.
