The Apprentice is on tonight, down to the final five. Does anyone else watch it, or am I alone in my love for SurAlan/Lord Sugar? Who do you think will win? Who do you want to leave tonight?

Susan gets on my nerves, I am surprised she is still in it! Natasha *yeah* is very irritating, how is Tom still in it when he's lost so many tasks?! Is Helen all she is cracked up to be? Is Jim really a Jedi?

:D

Lol you make me laugh! Yes we watch it and like Helen the best, although I agree that they aren't as good this year!!

I'm not sure who I like the best, none of them are that good! I liked Zoe.. :(

Other series' were probably better, but it's still fun to watch :)

We love it! :D

I am having to record it as I am trying to write an assignment for my OU course. I am have decided to study til 10pm then I will watch it :)

If I don't watch it this evening someone will give it away on Facebook or on the school run tomorrow!

I do like Helen but she did make a big mistake last week. I really didn't like Natasha last week either. I like Tom but I don't think he will make it to the final! :)

Yes its my favourite programme of the week but I agree they are rubbish this year compared with people like Ruth Badger. Jim is the best salesperson but bad on judgement. I guess Helen is the best and I can't stand Susan!

Helen is our favourite - she seems to have her head screwed on.

Does anyone remember Paul Tulip? Think he was in it with the badger - he went to my school, 2 years above me. I didn't start watching it until the series after but hubby tells me he was a bit of a tit on the programme (",)

i love it!! i agree other series were better. i actually know Lee who won as he worked with a friend and I also met Ruth Badger one night a few years back and she invited us to the filming of You're Fired for the first episode of the series after hers. She was really nice. Can't wait for tonights and always love the interview task (classic Baggs last year with his "hello Margaret" and the look she gave him!!!

Well, I need reality show fix - so it has become the Apprentice, since Popstar to Operastar finished on Sunday:( Dont know any of them on it really, but I will be assessing them all tonight (not that my predictions about the likely winner is ever the right one, mind you)

Yes 'The Apprentice' is a must in our house! Although I don't think I would like to work with any of them actually. I have explained to Little Flo that she has to snuggle up and watch too! Flo is very disappointed that she missed the pet food fiasco!
Fast food tonight! Not sure who will win but have a feeling it will be Jim and Helen in the final, but then I'm usually wrong!

I like to support the underdog...Tom or Susan to win! Although I expect Helen will win which is very boring, it's not as good as it used to be.

Tom and Helen impressed me tonight! Those pies looked yummy! I'd pass on the mushy peas though... And lol @ Colombus being British!

Yay Natasha went! Susan did OK I think, the final looks good!

Well, I think 'Lord Sugar' made the right decision last night - just! The two girls definitely looked like their spark had gone out.

I did what I always do and didn't watch the first few episodes and told everyone how ridiculous it is that they are describing these idiots as Britain's finest business brains, and then I gradually got really into it and now I can't miss it. It does drive me mental though -how on earth can they go through a task without putting together a business plan - have they forgotten what show they're on? Jim and Susan should have been sacked as well as Natasha.

The best bit is seeing how much the girls change by the time they end up on You're Fired. They've clearly seen themselves on the main show and gone straight to the hairdressers!

Yes, Jim should definitely have been shown the door - trying to do a projected profit 'on the hoof' and getting it so badly wrong was a very cringeworthy episode. Can't believe he got away with that - as well as all the other stuff that went wrong in the restaurant:D

My (Scottish) husband was sniggering at MyPy though - as they mentioned in You're Fired, Py is a Scottish slang word for lady bits! Welcome to MyPy has a very different meaning.

Goodness, where have I been for the umpteen years:eek: I think maybe this is a localised colloquialism (or maybe just too modern for me to have caught up) I have never heard that expression ever - guess I am too old for it to have reached my delicate lugs!:D Or maybe its a man thing, lol.
Must have been a laugh for those who recognised it as lady parts though! What a hoot!

Strangely - on walking past the TV last night I noted that it was this program you were all talking about..........I didn't see a Cockapoo anywhere !!!!!!!

I don't watch it - but was drawn in quickly and ended up really liking the Irish chap.

I had to escape from the forum for a bit, after having a dream that JD had residential accommodation for people who wanted to see what it was like to be breeders of cockapoos:eek: That told me I was becoming far too involved!
A bit worrying, really, so decided to give my brain a break from puppies and on to other forms of life, lol.

Funny you should say that !!!!
We have had one lady do a 6 hour round trip every weekend for 6 weeks to come and play with all our dogs - she had a fear of dogs and wanted to confront it head-on before taking a puppy on (it's OK as her husband was very dog orientated) - She had come over just for the initial "Fact Finding Tour" and ended up running the dogs in the paddock and feeding them. She came back every weekend because she wanted to learn about dogs; handling; training and care - she even chose which Mum she liked best and waited for her next litter to choose her perfect pup.

We often get children wanting to do a little more than just "view" dogs - so the odd occasion I have been known to get the quad-bike out and take them for a blast around the paddock with the dogs along side xxxx

My 18 year old son is soon to move in and help out for the Summer (we'll see how that works !).......and we even discussed the need for a 25 year old Swedish Blonde au pair the other night too xxxxxxxxxxxx ;)

As has been mentioned to JoJo previously - dog breeding is a little more involved (hands-on) than most would imagine - and if anyone wanted to experience a "Day In The Life Of" then I'm sure we'd love to have someone come a give it a go xxxx

Dog ownership is full on enough ..... breeding is living it 24-7, its a non stop demand but hey we are talking cockapoo puppies and being at home with cockapoos all day.. sound like the dream to me :) :) ok no time for anything else... but dogs are the best companions in the world ... they don't answer back either :)

you have to be a certain type to breed cockapoo dogs .... ummm how shall I put this nicely... COCKAPOO CRAZY !!!!!

Is Izzy the only dog that answers back? She huffs at me quite vocally, snorts at me and has a very grumbled expression when she isn't getting her own way. I am sure if she could she would use her paw and flick her ear back like my daughter did with her hair as a huffy teenager.

I love The Apprentice, not sure who I want to win. Natasha was a real sulky moo last night and deserved to go. I don't like Susan but she has done brilliantly given her background. Just can't stand Jim, so that leaves Tom and Helen.

Dylan does talk to us - he has quite a wide range of little whines, yaps and funny sounds that he makes and he absolutely does it to converse. You can just tell he is holding a conversation and will reply when we speak back to him, but he is always in a good mood and never grumbles. It's only the humans in this house who do that!

Oh heavens - that is totally why I adore our wee cockapoo - he is so incredibly PATIENT -'Cant do a walk right now? OK then, I will just have a sleep. Want to play ball - oh come on.... please? Oh, can't right now, huh? Chores to do? Oh shame - well, I will just go to sleep for a while. Just let me know when you are ready - and then I will go totally mental and run around like a hooligan. But meantime - I will just have a wee nap.' Bless 'im.

I've kept away from this thread as I missed it last week and wanted to catch up on iplayer! So happy Tom won, what a nice guy :) Have watched The Apprentice since it first started, I love it, although the contestants do seem to get more annoying every year!
