Hi everyone just a quick message for everyone, not posted much the last week, as I've had a few low days, so not spent much time on here and spent a lot of it asleep. For those I messages about natural instincts I will order it as soon as I can.

Agree, as someone else posted before, dogs are the best remedy when you are feeling low. Big hugs x

Thanks for all the messages, was starting to feel a bit better then, knocked for 6 today, work asking me to come for a capability hearing, ie if they think I'm unfit I could be dismissed and be unemployed :(, not the kind of letter you want when your feeling down. Just felt like crying all day after that, just couldn't be bothered with anything, just wanted to sleep, but was to anxious over it to relax. Poppy sensed there was something wrong and came upstairs and lay on the bed good as gold.
Just feeling crap again, this letter is the first contact I've had with work while I've been of sick for the last couple of month, none of my so called colleagues have even contacted me to ask how I am. May be it would be worth just packing it it and working with caring people for a change. I wonder if I could get a job with cockapoos? Or animals and somewhere I could take poppy to work with me

Sounds great ... we all want a job with JD. How come the so called caring professions are often the ones that dont seem to. If you've not got a fit for work note from your GP can they go down this route ? you would think they had to take a more supportive route first and try other options. I'd maybe just give your union rep a call, good luck and dont let the b*** get you down :)

Thanks Karen, think I'll give my rep a call, I know why they are doing it, it's targets targets targets, and that's all that matters. I took a new sick note in last week for 2 months and then this comes through the post, just so fed up now. I useful love being a nurse, I now feel like crying when I think about going to work, because of the way I've been made to feel. Think it's time I went for a poppy hug

I am really sorry to hear you are having such a rough time Simon. I was off work 6 months with a slipped disc years ago and didn't hear anything from my colleagues either! Needless to say I changed jobs as soon as possible! Your employers/colleagues should be more sympathetic and realise not everyone's life is a bed or roses though I am sure for you a bed of "Poppies" would be nice :) Hope you are feeling brighter soon and at least you have your lovely Poppy to cuddle X

Hi Simon

How you are feeling sounds c**p. If that letter has made you tearful then that sounds like the last straw on top of other issues. I have sent you PM and look forward to chatting sometime.
