Night time crying!

OK so we got Monty on Tuesday last week and on his first night he cried and cried and as time went on he got better. On Wednesday my mum and stepdad went to Itlay and my nan came over (she's always had dogs so it's ok). By Saturday night he was almost perfect only cried once for 20 minutes and no mess, but on Sunday my mum came back and all of a sudden he's crying all night again why?

Who was putting him to bed ? If it was mum then nan and now back to mum it could just be the change of routine ! He's still only a baby, I'm sure he'll settle down again soon. :)

Maybe if Nan was experienced with dogs she handled him and talked to him in a way that made him feel secure. Young dogs especially like to feel looked after within their 'pack', they want others to be 'in charge'. If you put him to bed feeling sorry for him or worried about him he could sense it in your body language or tone of your voice and feel more worried himself.
